Love-Hate Relationship with Cliffhangers! (+Santa!)

Anyone following Royal Pains? Haven’t been a huge fan, but I do follow through the episodes occasionally, good enough to understand the storyline.

I was getting a little bored with the Hank-Jill-Charlie triangle, and wondering whether Evan and Divya were gonna hook up (I think they’d make a cute couple!) despite her arranged soon-to-be marriage to Raj.. but the season ended perfectly with 3 cliffhangers! Unlike the rest of their otherwise quite-dull episodes, the Wonderland episode’s good enough to keep one hanging onto for the next season!

Ugly Betty’s coming back, too. *Yay* It’s been awhile since there’s been good TV.. !

Christmas is round the corner(!), and this probably the first year that I haven’t gotten time to get all hyped up over it, yet!

Sweet Santa brought me everything I’ve asked for early this year~ Weeee~~!!!!

I can-not wait for 2010!

Paper-and-string: I’m September’s lucky winner!

Little Red Bus hosts its 3rd giveaway (yes, we’re such babies in the blogging world) this September, so it’s pretty evident that this whole ‘giveaway’ idea is new on me. In fact, truth be told, I’m one of those (as we Singaporeans would say) who’s too “paiseh” to partake in such activities (despite the fact that I’ve hosted THREE).

I’m not sure what got into me late last week, but I submitted my entry on an impulse for September’s giveaway on one of my favourite blogs: paper-and-string. I was the first of the 99 (probably cos’ I subscribe to her RSS and my trusty Thunderbird *PINGS* everytime there’s a new read, and call it first timer’s charm, I won.

Weeeee… now I’ve gotta wait for it to travel around the globe before reaching me!

I’m crazy excited about the First Bash!

Well, here’s an attempt at cheering myself up.

As the title goes, I’m crazy excited about the First Bash!I’m crazy excited about the First Bash! As you might (or might not) have noticed, I’m a fan @ Etsy as of late, and I’ve convinced the equally excited folks at LRB to join in the excitement. We recently opened our very own shop @ etsy, featuring handmade goodies from various vendors. Why various vendors?

– `Cause we’re a family-friendly resource centre

`Cause we’re testing market

– `Cause it’d take awhile before we launch our products.

“Our products?’ YuP! Hehe, we’re planning, it would probably take a while before we get down to doing it, as we’re still perfectifying our community page, and it would take AWHILE before we manage to update and include everything we’ve got on our to-do list, which is growing day by day. However, I’m glad we’re growing and expanding! Heck, I’m more than glad. I’m over the moon about it!

Yesterday I managed to do up the site to be exactly what I had in mind. Have you seen it? It’s gorgeous Pink+Brown, it’s lively and it’s all mine! Okay, so it’s all LRB staffs. (It’s mine!)

Anyways, coming back to our First Anniversary Bash’s Giveaway! Go ahead, read about it. I just got a sneak peek at what our prizes are gonna be. That’s the perks of being the CEO. They’re absolutely gorgeous you would WANT to be a part of the giveaway!

365 days of me?

Today’s my Mom’s 57th birthday, and I surprised her with a lovely basket of goodies! Mom’s always been a huge fan of Body Shop’s Strawberry range, I recall she used to use their products when I was younger. So when I saw them for sale at Body Shop, I grabbed the chance and got the Beloved Rock gang to pack them up for me into a lovely little (huge) basket.  Excuse the photos, they were quickly snapped using a handphone camera.

She absolutely loved the gift~ Yipee!

Otherwise, it’s been a really busy day, I can’t believe it’s already half past two! I’ve still got tonnes to accomplish, but you know what they say about eye-breaks? I tried taking one, but gazing out of the windows into the trees was just as glaring as gazing at my monitor! I really hope the temperature drops and the clouds make their appearance soon. It’s a matter of time before some of us slips into a heat stroke!

Excuse my sudden fascination with photographs. I’m no pro, I don’t even come close, but it’s beginning to be fun!

Hmm.. is this the year that I start my 365 days of me? Perhaps I ought to start with 52 weeks, and see if I’ll pull through.
